Rafal Dadello, pastor of Holy Spirit Polish National Catholic Church, blesses pets at the parish’s second annual pet blessings ceremony on Saturday, October 17th. People from the community joined members of the congregation at the church on 618 E. Gansevoort St. Little Falls for the ceremony. This custom is conducted in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi because of his love for all creatures. St. Francis’ feast day is October 4th.
