Little Falls Canal Celebration

Members of our parish raised funds to support our work by selling Polish food during the 2010 Little Falls Canal Celebration. On Friday evening we sold kielbasa and kapusta sandwiches in front of Rick’s Style Inn, 580 Main St., Little Falls. On Saturday, August 14th residents of the city were lined up at the church on 618 E. Gansevoort St., to purchase homemade pierogi and other delicious treats. Around 1,400 pierogi were bought within four hours! The overwhelming response was greatly appreciated but resulted in the lack of food to continue the sale on Sunday as planned.

On Saturday September 18th we will be hosting our annual Polka Fest from 1 to 5 at the East Herkimer Fish and Game Club. Tony’s Polka Band will be playing. We will be serving a full menu of homemade Polish food. We will also have a golumbki sale in conjunction with the blessing of pets on Saturday, October 16th at the church.

Polish Heritage Celebration during Utica Monday Night

On Monday August 2nd, members of the Holy Spirit Polish National Catholic Church, PNCC, of Little Falls raised funds to support their small parish by selling Polish food at the Utica Monday Night celebration in Chancellor Park. This is the fourth year that the congregation provided the cuisine during this festive event. The beautiful weather helped to produce a large turnout. Those in attendance enjoyed the music of Jasiu Klocek and the Salt City Brass.

During the 2010 Little Falls Canal Celebration members of the church will be selling kielbasa and kapusta sandwiches in front of Rick’s Style Inn, 580 Main St. Little Falls on Friday August 13th from approximately 5 to 7. On Saturday August 14th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Sunday August 15th from 12:00 p.m. until sold-out, the parish will be selling homemade pierogi, kapusta, kielbasa and other Polish food at the church on 618 E. Gansevoort St. Little Falls. Meals will be served in the parish hall. Takeout meals and frozen pierogi will also be available.

On Saturday September 18th the church will be hosting its annual Polka Fest from 1 to 5 at the East Herkimer Fish and Game Club. Tony’s Polka Band will be playing. A full menu of homemade Polish food will be served.

Holy Mass is normally celebrated at the church on 618 E. Gansevoort St., Little Falls at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. People of all ethnicity and backgrounds are welcome. Come join us on Saturday, September 18, 2010 from 1 to 5 p.m. for Polka Fest 2010 to benefit Holy Spirit Polish National Catholic Church in Little Falls, NY.

Polka Fest 2010 features Tony’s Polka Band, homemade Polish food, beer, wine and soda.

Polka Fest will be held at the E. Herkimer Fish and Game Club, Pine Grove Rd.

Canal Days Celebration

Come visit with us, and enjoy a fun day at Little Falls’ 23rd annual Canal Days, August 13th to 15th. We will be serving Polish food prepared by our members. Polish dishes will be available as follows:

Fri. 8/13, at 5pm and during the parade in front of “Rick’s Style-Inn” 580 East Main Street, Little Falls.
Sat. 8/14, from 11am to 4pm at the church, 618 E. Gansevoort St., Little Falls.

On Monday, August 2nd, the parish will be selling Polish food at Chancellor Park, Bleecker & Kent St., Utica. The Utica Monday Night Polish Heritage Celebration will feature a performance by Jasiu Klocek and the Salt City Brass Polka Band from 6:30 – 9:00. Stop by and visit with us — and enjoy our great Polish food.

Supporting our local food pantry

The Parish is conducting a food drive to support the local food pantry. Parishioners and friends are encouraged to bring non-perishable items to church on Sundays for donation to the Little Falls Food Pantry. Your generosity and concern are appreciated and blessed.

On Sunday, June 6, we will have a Picnic at the church after Holy Mass. Everyone is invited.
On Friday, June 11, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Holy Mass is at 6.00 p.m. We welcome everyone.

Easter babka sale

We are having an Easter babka sale which will include: babka, butter lambs, and chrusciki (fried cookies) with confectionery sugar on them. We will also be holding an Easter Dinner on April 18 ,2010 immediately following Services.
